Libertarian fiction isn’t welcome in the system but I write it anyway
They bury libertarian fiction with algorithms. I write it anyway. No gatekeepers. Just dangerous stories for readers smart enough to think.
Most platforms don’t want fiction that challenges the narrative. They want safe, predictable, and politically sanitized fiction that rolls with mainstream trends.
They want:
-
Genre over guts
-
Trends over truth
-
Compliance over courage
But that’s not what I write. My books are for readers who:
-
Believe truth isn’t negotiable
-
Value freedom over safety
-
Still crave magic, rebellion, and personal responsibility
-
Think fiction should inspire stateless self-ownership
Why I’m leaving the algorithm behind
The algorithms reward conformity over substance. And the more I leaned into themes, themes contradicting mainstream DEI and tokenism narratives, the more I got buried.
- Stories about self-ownership? Filtered.
- Protagonists rejecting centralized control? That’s fringe.
- Critiques of state power, collectivism, and moral cowardice? You’re on the “blacklist,” friend.
Platforms like Amazon, Apple, and the rest claim to “empower authors,” but they throttle the very books that think for themselves unless they’re classics like 1984 and Brave New World.
So here’s the truth: If you write dangerous stories, the systems in charge will punish you, even if you don’t even realize it.
That’s why I started selling direct
No more begging for scraps, dancing for clicks, or tone-policing from people who never read past chapter one.
My Substack, Rune-Written Resistance (link at the bottom), gives background info on books that still mean something. Where ideas come before tired, pacified genre tropes, and the reader’s smart enough to remember they can still think, come before the algorithm.
This is my Declaration of Independence, my secession
Let the trad publishers have their beige books and phony virtue, and let the algorithms serve their sterile, copy-paste fiction to the masses.
I’ve got:
-
Real and not sanitized characters
-
Real stakes that spit on the ‘G’ word
-
Real consequences if the ‘horseshoe’ catches up with my protagonists
And I’m just getting started.
