Two free prequels. Just sign up to my author newsletter, the Readers Republic, and you’re well on your way to getting your prequels. After passing the initial 200 subscriber mark in June 2021, I made this crazy rookie author mistake when I inadvertently sent out back to back emails to the Republic within a 45-minute timespan.

So, as a way to make it up to them, I decided to create a second prequel to Elementals of Nordica, called the Chronicles of Rondure.

So how does do you get your eyes in front of both works?

It’s quite simple, really. When you sign up for the Republic via either my site at the link above, Book Funnel, or StoryOrigin, you’ll automatically gain access to Chronicles of the Elementals, which serves as the prequel to Book I – Wind Wielder.

After three days, you will get a second email which will give you access to Chronicles of Rondure. But keep in mind, if you see today’s post and you sign up to the Republic before June 14th, you will also be part of the Republic who gains access to the initial release.

What is the Chronicles of Rondure?

Chronicles of Rondure

Chronicles of Rondure really shows off the genre-bending present in Elementals of Nordica, and of the entire Elementals Universe. While Elementals contains plenty of high and epic fantasy tropes, including sword and sorcery, chosen ones, crazy madman antagonist, and so much more, Chronicles of Rondure says, “not so fast.”

You’re getting a lot of science fiction and dystopian elements here. Chronicles of Rondure takes place in a different world than the main setting of Elementals of Nordica, which I have set in the World of Eidolon, bringing about the science fiction aspect.

However, given its status as an actual prequel to Wind Master – Book II in Elementals of Nordica, it will give you more insight on one of the other Five Worlds present in the Elementals Universe. Worlds will at least serve as a background setting in Elementals of Nordica.

So expect a few from the main cast in Chronicles of Rondure to make an appearance in Wind Master. That said, the work will give you a solid background on the world itself, the situation the main characters set to appear in Elementals of Nordica find themselves in, and if you love it, I may just end up creating a spinoff series down the road.

Are More Free Books Coming to the Authors Newsletter?

Chronicles of the Elementals

Yes! You will continue to get your eyes in front of a ton of freebies here. And while I don’t just give away my novels, I do give away short stories, novellas, and novelettes. Often, these will introduce you to characters or worlds scheduled to appear in later installments, whether in the Elementals of Nordica Series, or somewhere in the Elementals Universe.

So if you loved Chronicles of the Elementals – Prequel to Wind Wielder – Book I in the Elementals of Nordica Series, and the Chronicles of Rondure – Interquel to Wind Wielder/Prequel to Wind Master, then stay tuned. After each book I release, I’ll write and hand out these free stories. So once Wind Keeper – Book III in Elementals of Nordica, ends, expect an interquel toward Book IV – Wind Lord, and so on.

These are great ways to keep up to date on characters who either get less stage time in the Elementals Universe, and are poised to take the next step in the series. So as mentioned earlier, the protagonists and main cast will appear in a strong capacity in an upcoming book. Even if they were merely background characters or in the case of Tash Holmes and her budding Resistance, not mentioned at all in Chronicles of the Elementals or Wind Wielder.

If you’d like more of a rundown on upcoming freebies to Elementals of Nordica and how you can attain them, read my post on what interquels are and how they pertain to the series.

And if you’re one of those readers who will only read free novels, there is also a way to get all of my Elementals of Nordica works for free. However, doing so will also take a strong commitment on your part.
