TC Marti’s annual airing of grievances for 2025
TC Marti’s airing of grievances is raw, unfiltered, and authentic. I did not edit the following content you are about to read.
I love capitalism, and that’s why I hate gatekeepers in any niche, not just the literary kind. Gatekeepers wanna keep the status quo going, and capitalism literally tells these snobs to go fuck themselves.
Capitalism is why we have self-publishing opportunities unlike any other. And I’m not just talking about Amazon. You can self-publish and distribute your own books directly and buck the algorithms, especially if you’re self-motivating enough to get shit done, like start your own author blog, carve your own niche, and tell people what the hell’s on your mind.
One thing TC Marti’s constantly mad at…
Wanna know what else is on my mind? Public schools. Here are we are, sitting in a goddamn uncomfortable chair for an hour or so at a time, told to face the front, shut the hell up, take notes, and recite and repeat useless garbage we’ll never use in real life.
Yeah, TC, but didn’t you learn to type in school? I took a tech class because I had to. But for the love of Christ, I’ve been typing since I first looked at a computer.
Know what would’ve been more useful? How to use tech to start up and run my own freaking business. The most we got out of that class was how to run a lawncare business as high school kids. Mainly because they taught us how to write checks.
For real. Unless you were born with an IQ at room temperature, writing a check shouldn’t be that freaking hard. Kids these days may not learn this simple art in public school. But they got a smart phone that will them how to write up a damn check if they need to. Again, thank you, capitalism!
While those at the Ron Paul Curriculum DO learn how to run a business, all while teaching themselves how with minimal guidance, 85 percent or so of America’s youth are falling behind in public schools.
Statists say we need to “invest more.” I say we’ve “invested enough,” and Paul’s curriculum, and others like it, drive home the fact we should strongly consider an outright refusal to “invest” anything without our consent.
No, TC, you’re wrong. You did consent because it was voted on
This is why democracy is “the god that failed.” Yeah, you heard that right. Democracy sucks. Or at least this version of democracy sucks, because, in theory, and I hope this never translates into practice, 50.1 percent of a population could tell 49.9 percent what they can and can’t do, and what they must “invest in.”
Or, it’s really less than that, because a lot of use don’t vote. “Well, TC, you need to start giving a damn.” Newsflash, I do give a damn. I give enough of a damn to realize I shouldn’t vote on an issue that may end up telling someone I’ve never met where their tax dollars are going.
Hell, this version of democracy we have here in the States is so bad, that any major party that loses an election claims the other side cheated half the time. In 2016, the Democrats lost and cried. In 2020, the Republicans lost and cried.
Oh, and both sides love rioting, too. The Left likes burning buildings, the Right likes invading buildings. Meanwhile, most of us just want to be left the hell alone.
But without a State to keep us in line, there would be chaos
Shouldn’t be any more chaos than there already is, sweetheart. Over the past 125 years, the State has been responsible for how many deaths worldwide? Care to take a guess? Hundreds of millions, if you want a conservative guess.
How many people did the State send to concentration camps, including our own government here in the States? How many people did the State order to have killed in wars? And how many wars has the State propped up for years on end? Decades even?
Without a State, there would be chaos because people would be left to their own devices? Are you blind? Do you not know basic history? Do you not watch even a sliver of the news? Are you living under a rock like Patrick Star and engaging in “the art of doing nothing?”
Nah, humankind would function just fine in society completely run by the private sector. We see it in action every day since the State can’t watch over everyone. You’re already left to your own devices most of the time. Most people here are, you know? Even as the surveillance state starts to encroach our lives from every angle.
2026 should contain a simple New Year’s Resolution
Learn to be self-sufficient. And if you’re not satisfied with your life, then look inward and change it. So many people for so many years running say, “new year, new me.” But you know why they fail? They’re conditioned to look outward and have nothing but excuses, excuses, and more excuses piled on top of their laundry list of excuses. Often because of something or someone else.
If your life sucks, take a hard look at yourself. If you don’t like the surveillance state like I don’t like it, take steps to further ensure your own personal privacy, like using open-sourced tech, browsers like Brave, platforms like Linux, and email providers like Proton.
You can make your life better; you just choose not to. So, all the things I just went on a legendary airing of grievance tirade about, you know what I can do? I can buck every one of them by maintaining control of my life.
I can keep cleaning my room, be courteous to those in my community, keep building my own, freedom-based businesses, and take it upon myself to solve my problems. All while making zero excuses. So, now it’s your turn.
Start playing the game of life, and stop letting life play you. The 2025 Airing of Grievances is now adjourned. Now head over to The Rebel Lore Vault and check out my work.
