The Mafia keeping order while the national security state crumbles in chaos behind them

The Mafia may do better than the national security state scam

We’re trained to think the Mafia is a bunch of thugs and the national security state is our friend. Here’s why you’re being brainwashed.

They told us 9/11 changed everything. That we needed the Patriot Act, the TSA, mass surveillance, and endless war all to “keep us safe.” And so, trillions were spent, agencies exploded in size, and civil liberties shrank. But hey, if it stopped the terrorists, maybe it was worth it… right?

Except here we are, over 20 years later, still hearing about sleeper cells inside America, along with credible threats and heightened alerts.

Still being told we need to surrender just a little more freedom for just a little more safety until the end of time.

If terrorists are really operating on U.S. soil, then the national security state isn’t just bloated. It’s useless. These people have been given every tool, law, and blank check. And the best they can give us is more theater and fear?

At this point, I’d trust the Mafia and pay the protection the old-fashioned way. Back when America was in a better state of being.

At least the Mafia delivers

Unlike the alphabet soup agencies, Mafias don’t pretend to care about your rights while shaking you down. They’re honest about the transaction:

Pay up, and your neighborhood stays safe.

That’s more than you can say for the TSA, which has never caught a single terrorist. Or the CIA, which “accidentally” arms terrorists and then loses track of them.

The Mob doesn’t blow up hospitals in drone strikes. It doesn’t destabilize half the planet in the name of “freedom.” And it sure as hell doesn’t leak your private messages to the press when you criticize the system.

The state masks control as safety

Let’s be clear: the U.S. government doesn’t fail at national security. It succeeds at using the fear of terrorism to expand its own power.

That’s the point of the endless “alerts.” That’s why we have an open border and a surveillance state—because chaos creates opportunities.

Opportunities for new budgets, new laws, new agencies, and mass indoctrination, as my dystopian science fantasy, Wind Wielder, points out.

Meanwhile, the people they claim to protect are still being attacked, watched, taxed, and manipulated.

Stop falling for the same old lies

This isn’t an accident. It’s an outright scam. One that turns fear into funding and lies into legislation. If terrorists really are in the U.S., then we’ve been played harder than ever by the con artists in Washington.

And maybe, just maybe, it’s time to admit that the people who actually protect their own turf, even if it’s for selfish reasons, are more effective than a bunch of DC bureaucrats pretending they’re the good guys.

Because at least the Mob doesn’t send your sons to die overseas for a lie.

Governments only accomplish debt, debt, and more debt

If you still think the government’s primary job is to keep you safe, take a good, long look at what they’ve actually accomplished and how much debt you’re in because of their sheer recklessness.

Then ask yourself: who would you rather trust? Someone who says they care, while funneling billions to Raytheon? Or someone who doesn’t lie about their interests, and still keeps the streets quiet?

I’m taking the latter.

Know who else would rather seek protection from a mob instead of their government? Mali LaSalle, the main character in my epic dark fantasy series, Cymraeg Tales.

Born into the Untouchable caste, Mali’s a sub-human to the people in charge. But even she doesn’t know how dark, twisted, and evil the Tamurian Monarchy is.

And while Cymraeg Tales doesn’t have a Mafia ready to take over, it holds an epic flair of libertarian themes and exposes just how corrupt and dishonest Tamuria is. Even if they pretend to expand their warfare state for the greater good.
