A wide, cinematic digital painting capturing the vast crossover energy of the Renegades Epic. In the foreground, Sion Zona, a lean young man with wind swirling around his arms, stands on a jagged cliff overlooking a rift between worlds — half bright skies of Eidolon and half the smog-choked factories of Rondure. To one side, Tash Holmes, a petite girl with long, dark red hair with metallic energy glinting around her fists, faces him with curiosity. Behind them, faint spectral silhouettes of Tarja Titan (dark-haired, spirit aura glowing purple), Liza Fury (long brown hair, lean body, wreathed in flame), and Kaija Jokiharju (long, dark brown hair with blue highlights, surrounded by shimmering water runes) appear in the clouds, symbolizing the shared universe’s web.

Character crossover runs amok in the Renegades Epic

ByTC Marti

Like MCU, the Renegades Epic depicts characters “crossing over” into other works. This gives it the shared universe vibe that makes it shine.

In Book II of my Elementals of Nordica series, Wind Master, Sion Zona, a literal Wind Master from the World of Eidolon, travels to the grim and dystopian World of Rondure. There, he meets a Metal Morpher named Tash Holmes, the protagonist in one of my freebies, Midnight Raid. Little does Sion know, Tash is the daughter of one of the Renegades Epic’s most notorious villains, who makes their debut in Sentrys of Terrene.

Tash doesn’t even know, to be frank. But it shows how vast this shared universe is. And speaking of Tash, she spent her teenage years as one of the best friends of a girl named Mina Hirai. Mina is the protagonist in Civil War, and Sion, Tash, and the others cross her crew in Book IV of Elementals of Nordica, Wind Ruler.

Tarja Titan, the co-protagonist of the Terrian Chronicles and a gifted Spirit Elemental, also appears in Wind Ruler. Her stepsister, a Fire Master-Witch hybrid named Liza Fury, clashes with Mercenaries in Catch 22, Book II in Terrian Chronicles. Those Mercenaries are known as the Huotaja in Cursed Mage, Book I in Catenarian Chronicles.

As you can see, character crossover is everywhere in the Renegades Epic.

The Renegades Epic keeps getting more complex

So much that, if you read my old-world epic fantasy series Cymraeg Tales, you’ll find more crossover where you will least expect it. And it might just leave you raising your eyebrows and going, WTF?

This Epic is nothing short of complex, and it’s so wide and vast, that it’s also not uncommon to see characters make cameo appearances. In The Last Sentrys, Book II in Sentrys of Terrene, one character crossed paths with Tarja Titan and Kaija Jokiharju, the protagonist in Cursed Mage.

In The Last Sentrys, the reader also meets a girl who insists on going by the name Hagg. Hagg made her first appearance under another name in Book I of Terrian Chronicles, Tarja Titan.

So, if this is something you find interesting, then do yourself a favor. Head over to my Payhip store, The Rebel Lore Vault, right now, and pick yourself up Book I in both Elementals of Nordica and the Renegades Epic: Wind Wielder.

You won’t find much in the shared universe concept there, but you’re opening the door to something great. Check out Wind Wielder now.
