I write like an INTJ and refuse to follow anyone’s script
I write like an INTJ—strategic, defiant, and unapologetic. No trends, no filters, just stories built to challenge everything you’ve been told.
If you’ve ever read one of my books and thought, “This guy clearly isn’t just making stuff up as he goes”—you’d be right.
There’s a reason why my stories are interconnected across multiple series, why my characters clash with centralized systems of power, and why I refuse to hand-feed readers easy answers: I write like an INTJ, and once you understand what that means, everything I do—both in fiction and in real life—starts to make sense.
What’s an INTJ?
In the Myers-Briggs personality system, INTJ stands for:
-
Introverted – energized by solitude and deep thought
-
Ntuitive – focused on abstract ideas and big-picture patterns
-
Thinking – logical, principled, and emotionally grounded
-
Judging – structured, purposeful, and future-oriented
This combination creates what psychologists call The Mastermind or The Architect. And that’s not just a cute label—it’s a blueprint for how I create entire worlds.
Why it shows up in my books
INTJs aren’t just dreamers. We’re strategic builders, and that shows up in every element of my writing:
-
Complex, interlinked universes with ideological consistency that breathes libertarianism
-
Protagonists who challenge institutions, often outthinking the systems meant to suppress them
-
Narrative arcs built like chess games—every move planned in advance
-
Deep philosophical subtext woven through action, dialogue, and world design
I don’t write “what’s popular.” Screw that. I write what needs to be said, because the INTJ in me can’t stomach conformity for the sake of applause. Especially in the 2020s environment.
But there’s more than one lens
This isn’t just Myers-Briggs. My personality shows up across multiple frameworks:
Big Five (OCEAN Model)
I’m:
-
Extremely high in openness – I live for ideas, philosophy, and creative rebellion
-
Highly conscientious – I plan book launches down to the hour and obsess over editing
-
Skeptical over agreeable – I won’t flatter the establishment or walk on eggshells
-
Moderate on extraversion and neuroticism – I don’t need a crowd, just a cause
Enneagram: Type 5w1 – The Idealist Analyst
I want to understand everything, and use that understanding to fix a broken world. That’s why my books go beyond good vs. evil. They deal with questions like:
What happens when truth is illegal? What does freedom look like when bureaucratic institutions are built to crush it?
Socionics: LII – The Analyst
This type is known for dissecting ideology, exposing propaganda, and designing rational alternatives. Sound familiar?
So why does any of this matter to you?
Because if you’re reading my work, or just following my blog, you’re not here for fluff. You’re here for substance. You want stories that challenge, deconstruct, and liberate. You want characters who don’t just survive dystopia, but dismantle it.
Whether I’m writing about a cursed mage exposing a hidden cabal, a spirit-wielding rebel girl facing down tyranny, or a girl dismantling her own father’s evil empire, I’m always exploring one central idea:
What does it take to think freely and act accordingly in a world that punishes both?
That’s what the INTJ mind is wired to ask. And that’s the kind of story I’ll never stop telling.
Are you one of us?
If any of this resonates with you, or if you’ve ever been called “too intense,” “too principled,” or “too independent,” you might be in INTJ territory yourself. And if so, welcome. You’re not alone.
